A little about me

Passion for the magic of the sport is why Emilie trains and shows reining horses. 

 

Emilie grew up in Howell, Michigan. “Reining was popular in the town I was raised in. There were several of us on the same country road as young kids and we’d all ride our horses together down to the only neighbor that had an outdoor track so we could practice reining. Those were great memories that started my love affair with the sport.”

 

Emilie went on to be successful showing both reining and reined cow horses. Spending some time training in CA and MT, before coming to TX. 

 

In 2017, Emilie began training horses for Professional reining trainers Nathan Piper and Mirjam Stillo at Toyon Ranch in Pilot Point, TX, training everything from 2yr olds to Derby horses. Emilie opened her own reining training business in Gainesville, TX in 2020.
